tk_ font_install

tk_font_install is a cross-platform utility used to preview and install fonts on any computer system.

Do you do a lot of arts and crafts? Do you frequently find yourself downloading/installing new fonts? Are you tired of previewing them and installing them one by one? Then tk_font_install is the tool for you.

Easy to use!

Open the program, choose the .ZIP file of fonts you have downloaded/purchased, and tk_font_install will load all available .ttf font files in the ZIP. Scroll through the available fonts on the left, and select which ones you're interested in. Once you click on them, they will appear in the preview window on the right. Once you've chosen which fonts you want, simply click the "Install Fonts" button and tk_font_install will handle everything in the background.

tk_font_install is written in Python, using Tkinter for the GUI. Because of this, it is cross-platform compatible with Windows, MacOS, and Linux as well. Please see the instructions with your respective download if you have any questions on how to use it!

The MacOS version is currently experiencing issues, but will be coming soon!

tk_font_install is the first program of its kind that I have been able to find online. It took me a few weeks to put together the program, test it, and set up the API (which I personally pay to maintain) for licensing. As such, I am asking for only $7 per license to the program. If you have any problems whatsoever with the licensing of the software, please feel free to reach out to me via the support section below and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Otherwise, if you would like to purchase the program, please click the button below. Thanks!

Need support? Having an issue with the program? Have suggestions? Shoot me an email at and I'll respond as soon as I can!
